After a recent mega stint of activity, attention and shows ponyloaf takes a short rest over the coming weeks. The next show confirmed is the SOOBIESTA festival at the Jubilee Hotel on Friday July 8 with more to be locked in shortly. In the meantime im building an arsenal of tube guitar synth patches and continuing the search for the ever elusive Korg RK-100.

bIG BIG thanks to Bit by Bats and the Grates for hanging with us at Coolangatta and Byron last month. I had a truly awesome time. I even kicked a goal from 50m (well ok 40) on the oval behind our motel. Im sorry to the woman that we woke up with rage cranked at 3am. We went to Nimbin! how cool is that? it was all so much fun! After all the tubs filled with beer and late night pastries from the bakery we all need some serious exercise.

And then there was CODA who make some seriously pretty music and are about the hippest kids in the whole of Sydney. God its all a bit overwhelming. I think i need a cup of tea.

You can still download Junkie Knights from the Triple J web site, but probably not for much longer. If you like the loaf you could probably vote for us in the Net 50 while you're there too. DO IT. DO IT. DO IT.
