Stevies PS Tennis Game

Jeez, it was a while ago now and i almost forgot, but it is such a cool thing that i had to post it. Steve the god of all things graphic unleashed some Ponyloaf artwork in a game of photoshop tennis at about this time last year. We are proud to be a feature of such awesome remixes. The game went: Rinzen Volleys :: Benfal Returns :: Rinzen Volleys :: Falardeau volleys :: Rinzen Volleys

And the match goes to Rinzen! Yaaaaay!!

Ponyloaf CD's at shows

We are going to get some copies of our CD that we can sell at gigs coming up! Brilliant! If you are after one ask us at the coming shows with Dexter (Avalanches). They will be about $15.

You can order it online if you prefer from the Australian Independant Music site. It'll still only cost you $22 and you get it delivered to your door. Thats pretty good.

BYRON ROCKED

PONYLOAF had a rather fantastic time in Byron last weekend playing the Great Northern with CODA and PROEM. The eclectic mix of styles made for a full-flavoured mash-up. Proem's 3 piece pagan metal for cello, drums and flute, and CODA's tortoise-esque post-rock orchestra made total sense in the mix with the Loaf's electro-symphonic deconstructions. Powerful music prevailed.

We will definately be back to Byron in the not too distant future with a Ponyloaf themed evening, in the meantime we'll be dropping in on Thursday April 3 with DJ Dexter to the Great Northern. Hope we can catch up with some of you Byron folk again there and this time we'll be bringing CD's!

CODA - you rule! Such lovely people, it was great to party with you. We'll be looking forward to the next time we meet. Lets make it happen. Drop us a line anytime.

Hi there, just picked this e-mail up from my friend and it sounds great! I have been a Lyn Kernigal fan for years!

I have spiked blond hair and bucked teeth with braces, buuuuuut (good news)
my mum said I can get my braces off tomorrow! Because combined with the
steel plate in my head (bad wheelchair accident) I keep picking up Triple J on my heart monitor.

Anyways, all that aside, a date with you sounds more fun than the time when I played spin the bottle at band camp. Keep me posted!

xxoo

Well Sian! You winned out to the MAXX! Tonight we went to the Lyn Kernigal concert at boondal entertainent centre! Shit! Lee was indahouse!

Thanks to all the hundreds and hundereds of girls that applied to date Shane and Damien (Dan had a date with George Clooney). Especially the ones from Norway. We all know your girls are the coolest. Unfortunately due to time zone differences your applications arrived just after 6! Sorry girls. I dont think we could fit your reindeer in the car anyway.

I hope that everyone is jealous to the maxx. WE'RE COUNTRY!

Win a date with ponyloaf

If you are crazy enough to go through with it you can win a date with Ponyloaf members Shane and Damian tonight!

The catch is, you have to come with us to the Lee Kernigan concert at Boondall Entertainment Centre! HAHAHA! Hilarity ensues! Your ticket is free! All you have to do is email us via the LOVE MAIL with your name and age and contact details before about, say... i dunno 6 pm(?), and tell us why you should win!

Conditions of entry, you must be old enough to stay out late and go with strangers to a suburb in the sticks and you must be able to make it easy for us to pick you up (like from the valley or something).

Go on! Challenge you inhibitions and come with us to point and jeer at the ridiculous country people with their boot-scooting and "I love you Lee" chanting!

DAN SAYS

Dans says theres too much love going on on this site. I have to agree. Where theres love theres usually angst, fear, bitterness and pain nearby. Therefore we have decided to release one of our live tracks called Nhaehe. Download it here.

field1: Hey guys are you going to have a small bio of each band member on this site?
Submit: Send

Answer: Yes! Thats right. Im thinking that each member should write their bio themselves especially for you. "Hi, Im Damian. Im an Aquarius. I like sunshowers, sunrises and strolls along the riverside. Especially all at the same time."

field1: I have a simple question - hope you don't get this one a lot, but... who designed the logo and what does it symbolise?
Submit: Send
--------------------------------------------------

Answer: Well... thats an easy one. Steve our main man from Rinzen (the greatest designer in the world) is responsible for our crest. Here is a photo of Steve and Myself (Steve is on the left).

The Ponyloaf crest symbolises the three aspects of the holy Ponyloaf trinity. The Heart, The Brains and The Courage.

The Courage is symbolised by the glorious wings, fanned out in full flight. Its about overcoming your inhibitions and allowing yourself to become what you are truly destined to be.

The Brains are symbolised by the halo of stars passing through the mind of our equestrian friend. Each star, like an idea, goes forth into the world before finally returning from whence it came. Forever changing and forever moving.

The Heart is symbolised by lightning on the breast of the shield. The most powerful force in the natural world is the thunder and lightning of the sky. Or is it the power of love?

You might also notice that there are three knobs in the upper right corner of the shield. They are there to symbolise what we are... Three knobs. Playing with knobs.

err.... I think Ive been reading too much StrongBad Email
